This follows the appointment of a new provider of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and Mental Health Facilitator services for Leicestershire earlier this month.

People across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are being encouraged to choose the right health service if they or a member of their family feels unwell this bank holiday weekend.
Over 100 people attended a pioneering event in Loughborough last week which for the first time involved patients and the public in the design of their local health and care services.
Hosted by the three clinical commissioning groups in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, the unique event was opened by the Professor Mayur Lakhani GP and the new Chair of West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group who organised the event.
A new health Alliance has been formed to provide Community Elective Care services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
The Alliance has been formed by University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, LLR Provider Company Limited, East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and West Leicestershire CCG.
From 1 April, the Alliance took over from Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (DCHS) which has provided the Elective Care services in LLR for the last three years.

The public image of ‘plastic surgery’ has been shaped by media coverage of private surgeons enhancing people’s body image. However, some cosmetic surgery is available to NHS patients, but only if there is compelling clinical evidence for it.

The CCG plans and pays for many of the NHS services for people in Hinckley and Bosworth, North Charnwood, North West Leicestershire and South Charnwood, including hospitals, mental health services and community healthcare.
