Annual General Meetings

The organisations responsible for planning and managing healthcare across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 28 September 2021.

The AGM provided an opportunity to look back at progress during 2020/21 and find out about delivery of the CCGs’ financial responsibilities. At the meeting the CCGs also provided an update on their transition to an Integrated Care System and what this means for local patients.

The Chairs of LLR CCGs were available to provide an overview of work in their areas and to answer any questions from the public during a questions and answers session. The questions and answers from the AGM can be viewed here. Please take a look at the event presentation

2017

Integration for Better Care

Our 2017 conference and AGM focussed on how we are integrating services to improve care for patients in West Leicestershire. Delegates heard about how better coordination of care is supporting patients at the end of their life, helping them to manage long-term and chronic conditions and responding to their urgent and immediate care needs.

Our Chair, Professor Mayur Lakhani and Managing Director, Toby Sanders, presented the achievements, challenges and developments during a year that saw the CCG gain an outstanding rating from NHS England in the annual assessment of our performance.  There was an update on the progress of Better Care Together – the Sustainability and Transformation Plan for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

An exhibition by representatives of health and care organisations, including the voluntary sector and support groups, provided attendees with the opportunity to meet and find out more about the excellent work they do in West Leicestershire.
