Procurement and investment committee
The Procurement and Investment Committee is responsible for making decisions in relation to matters delegated to it by the board in cases where a decision should not be made by the governing body as a result of the scale and nature of potential conflicts of interest. To further strengthen the CCG’s governance arrangements, provision has been made to include an ‘out of area’ GP as a member of the committee to provide a greater degree of independence and transparency.
Main purpose: To consider procurement and investment decisions where the CCG Board is unable to do so due to conflicts of interest
Meets: When necessary
